Biography

Amrita Bera received the M.Sc. and B.Sc degrees from the West Bengal state university and Calcutta University, respectively. In July 2018, she joined the Department of Food and Nutrition, Sarojini Naidu College for Women. She is now pursuing a Doctoral degree in Food Technology at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal.
Her research interests cover several aspects across food tech and nutraceuticals, mainly developing a prospective food. She believes that “we work as a food doctor towards our community”.
